Caring as relating : networking the environment and the self

 

 

 

By suggesting 'the self' as a new delivery model and agent, I intend for the self to play a role as a mediator for both the environment and society. The self is both a receptor and a deliverer as the most basic unit. And it plays a significant role in forming and interweaving a net of love. Among each person, love starts to flow from the closest, most intimate part of our lives. And it is delivered to the next people and reaches its influence to the distant, largest realm of society. This shows a possibility to encompass social and environmental realms. The caring as relating might link broken relations and narrow down the gap between nature and humans, humans and humans. 'Caring as relating' can be applied in bringing the reconciliation between humans and the environment.
